Marriage*She married Richard Thomas Minigan, son of Richard Washington Minigan and Mary Jane Dolan, on 11 June 1944 at St. Mary's Church in Beverly.2 
Death*Margaret Mary Powers died of breast cancer on 27 August 1990 at Beverly Hospital in Beverly.3 
Burial*She was buried on 30 August 1990 in St. Mary's Cemetery in Salem.3 
When they were married in 1944 Margaret was in the U.S. Marines and Richard was a bookkeeper living at 7 Doane Avenue in Beverly.2 
When their son Richard was born in June 1946 Richard and Margaret were living at 50 Broadway Street in Beverly, Essex County, MassachusettsG. Richard Sr. was working for a railway express agency at the time.4 
Margaret was living at 24 Wellman Street in Beverly when she died.3 
Her obituary appeared in the 28 August 1990 Salem Evening News and read as follows:

Margaret M. (Powers) Minigan, 71, of Beverly, died Monday at Beverly Hospital. A lifelong Beverly resident, Mrs. Minigan was a 1936 graduate of Beverly High School. She was a communicant of the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church. Wife of the late Richard T. Minigan, she is survived by two sons, Richard W. Minigan of Beverly and John P. Minigan of Salem; two daughters Ann Marie Kent of Beverly and Margaret M. Pedro of Peabody; two sisters, Anna Shepard of Danvers and Katherine Tindley of Essex; eight granchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late John J. and Mary L. (Brawders) Powers. A funeral Thursday from the Campbell Funeral Home will be followed by a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church.5

By June 1940, when their son Richard was born, Susan and Fred were living at 12 Union Street in Beverly. Fred was still working as a clerk.5 
When their daughter Susan was born in January 1945 Susan and Fred were living at 53 Hancock Street in Salem. Frederick was employed as a fireman at the time.6 
When her father's obituary was published in June 1946 they were still living in Salem.7 
Fred was living in Longboat Key, FloridaG, in May 1998 when his sister-in-law Mary Larivee's obituary was published.8 
Frederick was living at 22 Johnson Street in Peabody when he died. He retired as a Captain in the Salem Fire Department.3 
His obituary appeared in the 27 December 2002 Salem Evening News and read as follows:

Frederick J. "Cookie" Harney Sr., 86, of Salem, a retired fire captain and acting deputy chief, husband of the late Susan (Minigan) Harney, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002 in the Rosewood Nursing Center in Peabody. Born and raised in Salem, he was the son of the late Frederick A. and Mary (McCarthy) Harney. He was educated in the Salem school system and was a graduate of Salem High School. Mr. Harney was employed for 29 years as a firefighter for the City of Salem, and was an acting deputy fire chief for 15 years until his retirement in 1971. He was also associated with his wife in the operation of the former Mrs. Harney's Nursery School in Salem. A longtime resident of Salem, he and his wife moved to Longboat Key, Fla., at the time of his retirement. He resided there for 18 years before returning to Salem four years ago. He was a member and past president of the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church Men's Club in Longboat Key, and a member of the Salem firefighters' union. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Susan Ellen and Brian Walsh of Delmar, N.Y; two sons and daughters-in-law, Frederick Jr. and Pauline Harney of Salem, and Richard and Claudia Harney of Peabody; seven grandchildren, Karen and her husband Vincee DiGilio, Kathy, Carolee and Emily Harney, Elizabeth and Erik Walsh, and Kevin Harney; two great-grandchildren, Riley and Cormac DiGilio; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late William and Richard Harney.9

Death*Stephen Leavitt died before 26 April 1755, probably in Brentwood, New HampshireG. This is the date his will was proved.4,5

Birth*Richard Washington Minigan was born on 12 August 1882 in Beverly, Essex County, MassachusettsG.1 
Marriage*He married Mary Jane Dolan, daughter of Cormac Dolan and Susan Brady, on 22 November 1911 in Salem, Essex County, MassachusettsG.2 
Death*Richard Washington Minigan died of a heart attack on 16 June 1946 at home, 30 Wellman Street in Beverly. He was employed as a foreman in the Beverly Public Works Department at the time.3 
Burial*He was buried on 18 June 1946 at St. Mary's Cemetery in Salem.3 
His parents were living in Beverly when he was born. They were both born in Ireland and his father was employed as a teamster.1 
His obituary appeared in the 17 June 1946 Salem Evening News and read as follows:

Richard W. Minigan of 30 Wellman street died yesterday after a brief illness. Taken with an ill turn while at work last week, he was brought to his home and seemed to be rallying when the end came suddenly. Mr. Minigan was a life long resident of Beverly and was widely known throughout the city. He was a faithful city employee for more than 38 years, serving as foreman in the public works department. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Mary J. Minigan; two daughters, Mrs. Fred J. Harney of Salem and Miss Mary E. Minigan of Beverly; three sons, Richard T., Robert J. and William J. Minigan; two sisters, Mrs. Henry S. Heffernan and Miss Mary E. Minnigan [sic]; also four grandchildren.4

Marriage*She married William Nickerson, son of William Nickerson and Anne Busby, on 30 November 1668. Nickerson genealogy gives the date, while the Great Migration book says the date was unknown.2,3 
Death*Mercy died on 7 April 1739 in Chatham, Barnstable County, MassachusettsG. Date was given as "7 (2) 1739", which probably means April 7th.3
