| The 1920 census of New Britain lists at 213 Washington St. Charles Insalaco and his wife Jennie. In that same household is a 60-year old man named Salvator Yearns whose relationship to the head of the household (Charles) is said to be father. He was Italian as well. Since Jennie's maiden name was Ierna, it seems probable that this was her father instead. He is buried in the same plot as his daughter Carmela and her first husband Sebastiano Buscemi in New Britain, Conn. |

- Correspondence from his granddaughter Joanne Bendott, email dated 27 Mar 2006, in which she said the year was 1866. However his gravestone has the dates 1860-1947 on them, and his likely entry in the 1920 census says he was 60 years old, so she may have gotten the year wrong..
