BRUNSWICK Mrs. Gertrude May Varney, wife of Ralph S. Varney, Harpswell Road, died Wednesday night at her home following a long illness. She was born at Jamaica Plain, Mass., the daughter of Edmund M. and Elizabeth Purdy Sadler. She attended schools at Dorchester, Mass., and was married in 1926. She had resided at Brunswick since 1939 and attended the First Parish Church. Surviving are her husband. a brother, Milton P. Sadler; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Learned and Mrs. Pearl Hendrickson, all of Brunswick.5 |
