| His obituary appeared in the 13 December 1967 Salem Evening News and read as follows:
RICHARD MINIGAN, BEVERLY VETERAN - ...52, of 24 Wellman St., died today following a long illness. He was a timekeeper for the city until his retirement last April due to ill health. Born in Beverly, he was the son of the late Richard W. and Mary (Dolan) Minigan. A veteran of World War Two, he served with the first Marines at Guadalcanal and was a member of Cadigan Post, A.L. and the Beverly Municipal Employees Association. He attended St. Mary's Church. He leaves his wife Margaret M. (Powers) Minigan; two sons, Richard W., now serving in Vietnam with the Seabees and John P. Minigan of Beverly; two daughters, Miss Margaret M. Minigan and Miss Ann Marie Minigan; two brothers, Robert J. and William J. Minigan, all of Beverly; two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Susan) Harney of Salem, and Mrs. E. Augustus (Mary) Larivee of Beverly; several nieces and nephews...
This funeral notice appeared in the December 18th paper and read: The funeral of Richard T. Minigan, of 24 Wellman St. , husband of Margaret M. Minigan, was held Friday morning from the Campbell Funeral Home. A solemn requiem high mass followed at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church. The Rev. Frederick J. Minigan, of St. George Church, Haverhill, was celebrant; the Rev. Leo X. Lynch of St. Mary’s Church, deacon and the Rev. Frederick R. McGowan, subdeacon. Present at the well-attended services were representatives of the Beverly Public Works Department, Municipal Employees Association, M.J. Cadigan Post American Legion, Mayor-elect James A. Vitale, Police Chief Edward Aucone and various city officials. Bearers were Frederick Harney, Richard Harney, William Minigan, Harry Heffernan, Harry Shepard and John Drinkwater. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem with committal prayers.6,7 |

Marriage* | She married Meturin Ricker, son of Noel Ricard and Jeanne Marquand. Probate and land records in Essex County, Massachusetts suggest that Maturin Rciker's wife may have been Sarah Simmons baptized at Bradford 4 August 1672 daughter of John and Elizabeth (Boynton) Simmons. The 1708 will of John Simmons includes a bequest to "Daughter Sarah alias reckords." (Essex County, MA: Probate File Papers, 1638-1881.)
On 20 March 1711/12 (deed recorded 23 February 1712/13), Sarah Ricker alias Records, widow of Dover in the province of New Hampshire, in consideration of the sum of fifteen pounds by Nathaniel Griffin, conveyed to Nathaniel Griffin a “twelve pound share” or “my part of fourscore acres of land that my Father John Simmons late of Bradford gave to me by his last will and testament bearing date March 11th 1708.” (Essex County Deeds, 26:109.) |

- Christopher Noble NEHGR article postules that his wife was born around 1646, so we'll guess 1645 for Christopher. There apparently is no actual evidence for his age at any point, or reliable evidence for the birth dates of his children.
- The will of Thomas Peverly, dated 19 Apr 1670, mentions a daughter Martha Noble. There were no other Nobles in Portsmouth at the time so it is assumed she married Christopher Nobel.
