Death*He may have died in July 1793, possibly in Gloucester, Essex County, MassachusettsG. The published Gloucester vital records have a death for a Thomas York in July 1793. This information came from a Bible record then in the possession of a Mrs. Martha Gamage of Rockport. Another record from the same Bible records the death of Thomas's brother Joseph, so it seems likely that this July 1793 death is for this Thomas.2
