Sargent says: "It was probably this Benjamin and his family who are given as the seventh in order among the first settlers of Bluehill, Maine in 1765, where they remained but a short time, probably removing further to the east, where all trace of them has been lost."

But they may be the family in the 1790 census of Sullivan, Maine, which had 2 free white males aged 16 or over, 1 free white male under 16, and 3 free white females. Sullivan is further to the east of Bluehill so this fits.5
