William Nickerson
M, b. ca. 1560-70, d. circa 1626
This research is a work in progress, taken from sources of varying reliability. The information should be verified before being relied upon.
Birth* | William Nickerson was born ca. 1560-70 possibly in Norwich, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 |
Marriage* | He may have married Margaret (?) say 1605. Their marriage is presumed from the fact that as the widow Nickerson Margaret later married William Ward. The date is solely based on the approximate age of William's eldest son William, who may or may not be a child of Margaret.1 |
Death* | William Nickerson died circa 1626. This date is based on his son Richard's indenture agreement on 15 August of that year, covering the time remaining from the earlier apprenticeship with his father. The parish registers of St. Lawrence in Norwich contain what appears to be (they are in very poor condition) an entry for the burial of a William Nicersonne on 23 October 1625.2 |

This research is a work in progress, taken from sources of varying reliability. The information should be verified before being relied upon.
Birth* | Margaret (?) was born. |
Marriage* | She may have married William Nickerson, son of John Nickerson and Elizabeth (?), say 1605. Their marriage is presumed from the fact that as the widow Nickerson Margaret later married William Ward. The date is solely based on the approximate age of William's eldest son William, who may or may not be a child of Margaret.1 |
Marriage* | Margaret (?) married second William Ward on 29 May 1626 at the St. Lawrence Church in Norwich, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 |
| It was her second (?) marriage to William Ward in which she was a widow that gives any evidence at all that she might have been the widow of William Nickerson, and it is not necessarily true at all that she is the mother of our William.1 |
