- Date comes from WW1 and WW2 draft registration cards. His naturalization index card says he was born on March 21st, however. The same naturalization card, as well as the 1920 census and his death record, are where the city of birth comes from. The names of his parents come from his death record, but the names on his marriage record are different. The father's name of George Potter just sounds like an Anglicized version of the name, but his mother's maiden name was given as Florentine, which is very different.

Birth* | Marjorie Potter was born on 30 December 1918 at Porter Hospital in Boston, Suffolk County, MassachusettsG.1 |
Marriage* | She married Donald Cadwallader McDonald, son of Fay McDonald and Henrietta May, on 19 February 1943 in Boston. Their marriage may have ended in divorce.2,3 |
| When the 1940 census was taken she was living with her parents in Brookline, Mass. and worked as a secretary for a building construction company.
When Donald filled out his World War II draft registration card in Jul 1941 he was a student at MIT and gave his parents' home address of 2217 Bedford Terrace in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was described as being 6' 1 3/4" tall weighing 160 pounds and having blue eyes, brown hair and a light complexion. He also wore glasses.
When they married in Feb 1943 Donald was a research assistant living at 405 Beacon Street in Boston and Marjorie was a secretary living at 44 Buswell Street, also in Boston. When their daughter Diane was born in May of the following year they were living at 266 Brookline Avenue in Boston and Donald was an electrical engineer. Things were the same when Douglas was born in May 1946.
In 1950 they were living in Wheeling, Illinois, and it also said that one year earlier they were living in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Donald was employed as a research supervisor in the electrical industry at the time.
Her death has not been located, or any information on her after 1950. Her kids were living in Cincinnati in 1971, and her husband was buried there in 1996 even though his residence was Southborough, Mass. at the time. Since Donald was divorced from a wife named Ruth Alexander at the time of his death in 1996 he and Marjorie must have either been divorced themselves, or she died much younger than him. |

- Donald was divorced from a spouse named Ruth Alexander when he died in 1996, so Marjorie either died young or they were divorced before Donald remarried to Ruth.
