John Fairbanke

This research is a work in progress, taken from sources of varying reliability. The information should be verified before being relied upon.
| Birth* | John Fairbanke was born say 1560, presumably in Sowerby, Halifax, West Riding of Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 |
| Marriage* | He may have married first Margaret Symmes on 28 April 1578 in Halifax, West Riding of Yorkshire, EnglandG. This is the only remotely appropriate entry in the Halifax parish register that may apply to John. We know he was married at least by 22 Sep 1583, when his oldest known child Mary was baptized in Halifax. The Register article from which this information comes simply states that his first wife was unknown, despite mentioning the marriage to Margaret Symmes, presumably because there is no evidence to tie the two together. It is presented here only as a possibility.1 |
| Marriage* | John Fairbanke married second Isabella Staincliffe on 6 August 1593 in Halifax, West Riding of Yorkshire, EnglandG. John was a resident of Skircote at the time.1 |
| Marriage* | John Fairbanke married third Ellen Parker, daughter of George Parker, on 28 August 1598 in Burnley, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 |
| Burial* | John Fairbanke was buried on 7 August 1625 in Thornton in Craven, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 |
