Birth* | Amos Wallingford was born on 23 March 1815 in Rochester, Strafford County, New HampshireG. He was aged 83-10-10 when he died, which calculates to a date of birth of 20 Feb. 1815, which differs from what other sources give. The Greeley genealogy, however, says he was born in Farmington, N.H.1,2 |
Marriage* | He married Abigail Stone Merrifield, daughter of Simeon Merrifield and Lois Stone, on 3 May 1840 in Fitzwilliam, Cheshire County, New HampshireG.1,2 |

Birth* | Lebanon Wallingfords was born. |
| In this section are the "Lebanon Wallingfords". These are people who all are from Lebanon, Maine so may very well descend from John Wallingford and Lydia Garland of Lebanon, but exactly how is unknown and may never be known. The family was so large and the records so sparse that untangling the muddle could be impossible.
Their appearance here as "siblings" to one another is purely fictional and is only used so that the computer program that stores their information can more easily print them all out. |

Ida W. Howard
F, b. circa December 1871, d. 5 April 1892
This research is a work in progress, taken from sources of varying reliability. The information should be verified before being relied upon.
Birth* | Ida W. Howard was born circa December 1871 in Rochester, Strafford County, New HampshireG. (Based on her age of 20 years 4 months at death.)1 |
Death* | Ida died during chidlbirth, on 5 April 1892, in Rochester, Strafford County, New HampshireG. No mention was made in the Rochester town report death records of a child's death on the same day, so perhaps the child to which she gave birth survived. The fact that she still went by the name of Howard probably meant that she was unmarried at the time, which could also explain the child's absence from the records. Children born out of wedlock were generally not included in Town Report vital records compilations..1 |

Grace M. Wallingford
F, b. circa 1884
This research is a work in progress, taken from sources of varying reliability. The information should be verified before being relied upon.
Birth* | Grace M. Wallingford was born circa 1884.1 |
Marriage* | She married Harry William Ham, son of Frank Ham and Mary Drowns, on 25 December 1901, probably in Berwick, York County, MaineG. |Place of marriage is uncertain.1 |
| Harry and Grace were living in East Waterboro, Maine with two daughters when the 1905 Waterboro directory was published. He was a mill worker at the time.2 She was supposedly living in Waterloo, Maine when Charles Wallingford tried to contact her for information about his 1942 Wallingford genealogy. The letter was returned as undelivered.3
Her marriage record states that her parents are Daniel and Hattie (Jacobs) Wallingford, both deceased. This seems like it would be the family of Daniel and (Abigail) Jacobs Wallingford, but that seems problematical. Daniel was supposedly alive at the time, and all of their children were born long before 1884, when Grace was born. However Harry William Ham's brother George Franklin Ham did marry Lucy, daughter of Daniel and Abigail (Jacobs) Wallingford, so there is that connection. More research needs to be done here. |

This research is a work in progress, taken from sources of varying reliability. The information should be verified before being relied upon.
Birth* | Elizabeth Wallingford was born in 1811. (Date from gravestone.)1 |
Marriage* | She married Isaac Goodrich on 13 April 1843 in Berwick, York County, MaineG. He was from Berwick and she was from Lebanon. They filed a marriage intention in Lebanon on 26 February 1843.23 |
Death* | Elizabeth died in 1884. (Date from gravestone) She was buried in the Evergreen Cemetery on Pine Hill in Berwick, Maine.41 |
| Elizabeth, called "Miss Betsy Wallingford" on her marriage record, is presently unplaced in this genealogy. One clue is that her marriage record follows immediately after that of Alvin Goodrich and Experience Wallingford. One might suspect that it was a pair of brother and sister marriages except that Experience, who was from Berwick, not Lebanon, already had a married sister Betsey. Isaac and Elizabeth may have more children than the two listed below. |
