DANVERS: Mrs. Jane Allison (Carter) Dolan, 71, of Danvers, beloved wife of Peter F. Dolan, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her family. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Jane (Hill) Carter. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1961. Mrs. Dolan had been employed in the Banking Industry for over 22 years with Beverly National Bank until the time of her retirement. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Jane was the Past President of the New England Safety Deposit Association. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and especially enjoyed their trips to St. Maarten, BVI. Her family and friends were the most important things in Jane’s world and she devoted her life to them. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Jane is survived by her husband of 51 years, Peter F. Dolan of Danvers; her daughter, Karen Dolan of Salisbury; her son, Peter Dolan and his wife, Erin of Groveland, her beloved grandchildren, Kyla and Kira Dolan; her brother, Edward Carter and his wife, Lish of Salem and several nieces and nephews, including Kelly Newbegin and Jeffrey W. Dolan. She was also the sister of the late Joan Repetto, Jean Darcy, and June Dolan and her husband, Bill. Her funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Route 62), Danvers, Saturday, June 6, at 10 a.m. Burial in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting hours prior to the funeral from 9 to 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Jane’s memory to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.3 |

DANVERS - John Philip Coles, 67, 104 Holton St., formerly of Nahant, died Thursday in Beverly Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Angela M. (Schettini) Coles. Bom in Nahant, he was the son of the late William and Mary (O’Connell) Coles. He attended Nahant schools and was a graduate of Essex Agricultural School. Mr. Coles was a salesman for the MacKenzie Floor Co. for 15 years before his retirement in 1978. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Middleton. Mr. Coles leaves two sons, John Philip Coles Jr. of Nahant and Joel Scott Coles of Danvers; two daughters, Susan D. Williams of Essex and Jodi Ann Coles of Beverly; a sister Louise Cook of Panama City Fla; a brother Robert J. Coles of Peabody; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Monday at 8 a.m. from the Mackey Funeral Home, 22 Conant St., followed by a mass in St. Richard's Church at 9. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.2 |
