Birth*Roger Howard Durgin was born on 12 June 1932 at home, 9 Glenway Avenue in Peabody, Essex County, MassachusettsG.1 
Death*He died on 6 July 2015 in Napa, Napa County, CaliforniaG.2 
His obituary appeared in the The Salem News and read as follows:

PEABODY: Roger H. “Buddy” Durgin, 83, of Peabody died after a lengthy illness in Napa, Calif., on July 6, 2015. Born on June 12, 1932, Roger was the beloved husband of Margaret Durgin (Schmelzer) of Napa, Calif., with whom he shared 23 years of marriage.

Roger was the son of Harry and Marie Durgin of Peabody. He graduated from Essex Agricultural School in 1951 as a Horticulturalist. He was a Korean War veteran who served honorably with the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1956. Roger was the owner of Durgin Auto Body in Peabody for 25 years. He enjoyed skiing, dancing, bowling, landscaping, playing horseshoes and the Lawrence Welk Show. He was an avid hockey player who played into his sixties and most recently especially loved having the last “tag” with his grandchildren.

He was the brother of the late June Corley of Texas, Laura Morrison of Peabody, Harold of Colorado and Richard of New York. Besides his loving wife, Margaret, he leaves behind his loving daughters, Kerri Carter and husband, Peter of Peabody, Kelly Durgin and fiancé, Donald Strunk of Danvers; his sons, Gregory and wife, Linda of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Douglas of Hyannis; step-children, Frank Salmon and wife, Gail of Medford, Stephen Salmon and wife, Cheryl of Napa, Calif., Thomas Salmon and wife, Mary of Bedford, Pa., Barry Brown and wife, Natalie of Marblehead, and Donna (Brown) Sikes of Columbia, S.C. He also leaves behind many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.2

Birth*Giovanni Bordieri was born on 9 October 1927 at home, 266 Havre Street in East Boston, Suffolk County, MassachusettsG.1 
Death*He died of atelectasis neonatorum due to two days of convulsions on 31 October 1927 in Boston aged 22 days. This is a failure of the lungs to ventilate. The family was living at 266 Havre Street in East Boston at the time, and the death may have taken place there. The death certificate isn't specific as to place of death. It just says Boston. The name on his death certificate was John Bordiere.2 
Burial*He was buried on 1 November 1927 in St. Michael's Cemetery in Boston.2
