She and her husband owned and operated the former Sta-Brite Metal Furniture Co. in New Britain and Jamaica, N.Y. Mrs. Buscemi is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mariann and John H. Nisbet of Longboat Key, Fla; and a grandson. Her husband, Frank L. Buscemi, died previously. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. with a Mass at St. Peter Church, 98 Franklin Square, New Britain. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Square, New Britain. She also leaves one sister and brother-in-law, Florence and Phillip DiMinno of New Britain, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Buscine. She also leaves her faithful loving poodle (companion) "Dolly"; a brother, Paul Vasile of New Britain; three granddaughters, Cheryl Carbonell and her husband, Bill of Southington, Tracy Pentalow of Farmington and Sarah Bates of Southington; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Dominec Vasile. She was surrounded by her loving family and extended family who remained by her side during the long illness. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m., from the Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 109 North St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. from St. Ann Church. Evo Rondini, 58, of 646 Allen Street, died suddenly at his home late Saturday. A World War I veteran, he was a native of Italy and a resident of New Britain for about 40 years. Engaged in the plastering business here, he was a member of St. Ann's Church and of the Marchegian Society. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lena Rondini; three sons, Anio, Evo, Jr., and John Rondini, all of New Britain; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Fuschillo of this city; six grandchildren and two brothers, Frank of New Britain and Joseph of Italy. Military funeral services will be held tomorrow at 8:15 a.m. from the Sorbo Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in St. Ann's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 10 p.m. today. Members of the Marchegian Society, of which Mr. Rondini was a member, will meet at the club hall on Acorn Street at 7:30 o'clock tonight to proceed to the funeral home in a body.1 |
