	When he filled out his World War II draft registration card in Mar 1946 he was described as being 5'10" tall weighing 170 pounds with brown hair and eyes and a dark complexion. He was living with his mother at 3405 Putnam Place in the Bronx. An ancestry family tree says that he was married 28 Jan 1962 in Dade, Florida and had two children, but the names of wife and children are private.
	His obituary appeared in the 24 September 2007 Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel and read as follows: Hambro, Murray, 80, of Plantation passed away Sept. 23, 2007. Beloved husband of Myrna. Cherished father of Eilene Liscio & Jason (Lori) Hambro. Grandfather of Elena, Spencer, Camryn & Casey. Brother of Marlene (Harvey) Jefferbaum. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Chapel service Tuesday, Sept. 25th, 9:00 AM at Star of David Cemetery & Funeral Chapel, 7701 Bailey Road, N. Lauderdale.4

Marriage*	He married Lucia Young Ranger, daughter of Lynn Melvin Ranger and Florence Guion Young, on 17 May 1935 at the Central Congregational Church in Lynn.2
Death*	Arthur Hudson Parsons Jr. died of a heart attack on 30 August 1959 while vacationing in Shapleigh, York County, MaineG.3
	When they were married in May 1935 Arthur was a salesman living at 20 Flax Pond Road in Lynn and Lucia was living at 3 Currier Road in Lynn. When their son Lynn was born in Apr 1937 they were living at 37 Orient Court in Swampscott, Mass. and Arthur still worked as a salesman. By the time son Arthur was born in Mar 1942 they had moved to 85 Redington Street in Swampscott and Arthur Sr. now worked as a librarian. When the 1950 census was Arthur and family were living in room 218 of the Hotel Loyal in Omaha, Nebraska and he worked as a public librarian. That is just about the time he took the job as director of the Omaha Public Library so they were likely in temporary accommodations while they looked for a more permanent home.

	His obituary appeared in the 1 September 1959 Evening World-Herald of Omaha, Nebrasks and read as follows: Library Man Parsons Dies. Has Heart Attack on Vacation in Maine. Arthur H. Parsons, Jr., 49, director of the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore, died Sunday night of a heart attack while vacationing in Shapleigh. Me. Mr. Parsons went to Baltimore in June, 1957, after seven years as director of the Omaha Public Library. Author of several children's books and a contributor to newspapers, magazines and professional journals, Mr. Parsons was one of five leaders named by the American Library Association last year to draft a revised program for national library service. He is survived by his wife, Lucia, and two sons, Lynn and Terry.4
