Death*Charles O. Winchester died of Bright's Disease on 1 September 1897 in Alton, Belknap County, New HampshireG.4 
When he was 8 years old he was recorded twice in the 1860 census. Once in the home of Richard and Rebecca Wallingford of Alton, likely his grandparents. And also in the home of his mother and step-father Samuel Hill, also in Alton.

William was employed as a shoemaker at the time of his marriage in 1872 and at his death in 1897.

Marriage*He married second Rhoda Blaisdell on 13 March 1846. There were both of Rochester, N.H. when they were married by the Elder Goodwin of Tuftonboro, N.H.1 A Rhoda R. Hodgdon, age 52, appears in the 1850 census of Rochester2 living with Rhoda's son Jacob so apparently her second husband had either died or they divorced by this point.
