Lucinda Atkins was born on 28 October 1815 in Mount Vernon, Kennebec County, MaineG. Her birth, although recorded in Mt. Vernon, may have taken place elsewhere.1
Marriage*
She married Moses J. Gove in March? 1838 in Mount Vernon, Kennebec County, MaineG. There were two conflicting marriage notices in two separate issues of the Maine Farmer, the first giving the groom's name as Johnson Gove and the second Moses J. Gove. The second has been used here on the assumption that it was a correction and that the J. stands for Johnson. The first notice was dated 13 March so the marriage took place at some point before that date. More research is necessary.2
Death*
Lucinda died by May 1865. "Heirs of Lucinda Gove" were mentioned in her father's 1865 probate records.3

Samuel Thomas Atkins Jr. was born on 23 December 1867 in Lincoln, Logan County, IllinoisG. Find-a-Grave says he was born in Lyons, Cook Co., Illinois.1
Samuel Thomas Atkins Jr. married second Margaret Thrall, daughter of Phillip Thrall and Laura Edson, on 31 July 1915 in St. Joseph, Berrien County, MichiganG. She had been married twice before, the last to a man by the last name of Lathrop.3,4
According to the Cleveland Genealogy, published in 1897 he was unmarried and living in Chicago. He was employed as a lumber estimator and was a member of the Odd Fellows. He apparently got married right about the time when the book was published. In the 1900 census he and his wife were living at 1702 Briar Place or Belmont Avenue, it's unclear which. His occupation was recorded as lumber estimator. Ten years later the 1910 census of Chicago recorded them at 4845 Washington Boulevard and Samuel worked as a building contractor. This was also the address they lived at a few months later when Mate died. In 1920 they he and his new wife Margaret were at 4807 Washington Boulevard and Samuel was a real estate agent.
His wives are apparently sisters, since Mate's death record and Margaret's marraige record both state that their father was Phillip Thrall. A quick look at census records for Phillip Thrall family didn't find one with either Mate or Margaret in it, however.1

Rebecca Atwood was born on 3 August 1704 in Barnstable County, MassachusettsG. While her birth is recorded some years later in the Truro town records, Truro was not a town until five years after she was born, so she was likely either born in Eastham where her parents were married, or in the area later known as Truro, which prior to that time was called Pawmett.1
