Birth*Moses J. Gove was born.
Death*Moses died.
Marriage*He married Lucinda Atkins, daughter of Charles Atkins Jr. and Rebecca Nickerson, in March? 1838 in Mount Vernon, Kennebec County, MaineG. There were two conflicting marriage notices in two separate issues of the Maine Farmer, the first giving the groom's name as Johnson Gove and the second Moses J. Gove. The second has been used here on the assumption that it was a correction and that the J. stands for Johnson. The first notice was dated 13 March so the marriage took place at some point before that date. More research is necessary.1
He was from Readfield, Maine.
