Birth*	William Logie was born about 1832-33 in Rousay, Orkney, ScotlandG. He was age 28 in the 1861 census. The IGI has a William Logie born 14 Dec 1832 and christenened 15 Jan 1833 to William Logie and Janet Marwick.
Marriage*	He married Elizabeth Harrold, daughter of Robert Harrold and Ann Banks, on 17 February 1859 in Rousay, Orkney, ScotlandG. (IGI.)
Death-Poss*	William Logie may have died on 16 July 1905 Los Angeles, CaliforniaG. There is a gravestone in the Angelus Rosedale Cemetery in Los Angeles for a William Logie born in Orkney on 14 Dec 1832 and died on this date. There is no evidence to prove that they are one and the same.1

Marriage*	He married Mary Sabiston, daughter of George Sabiston and Barbara Harrold, on 11 December 1874 in Rousay, Orkney, ScotlandG. Thomas was a farmer, single, age 53, of "Wotten" in Egilshay and Mary was a servant maid, single, age 19, of "Lee" in Rousay when they married.1
	In the 1891 census of Egilsay Thomas was living at Watten and was a farmer. (Census, Rousay & Egilsay, 4:4.)
