When their son John Jr. was born in May 1937 they were living at 19 Seaver Street in Brockton, Mass. By Apr 1939 when their daughter Nancy was born they had moved to 45 May Avenue in Brockton. They were still there in Feb 1942 when Carla was born. John Sr. worked as a last maker during this time period.

She was living in Chelmsford, Mass. when her sister Elizabeth died in Sep 1962. John was an engineer at RCA Corporation in Burlington, Mass. when he died in Aug 1964, and they were living at 24 Pinehill Road in Chelmsford at the time.

When their first two children were born in 1947 and 1948 John was a salesman and they were living at 17 Sachem Terrace in Lynn, Mass. When their son Kevin was born in Mar 1962 John was a furniture buyer and they were living at 212 Linwood Street in Lynn.

John H. Maguire, 80, Paine Furniture executive, died Wednesday at Salem Hospital of pancreatic cancer. He was the husband of Claire E. (Eisenberg) Maguire. Born in Salem, he graduated from Salem High in 1934. He joined the Army in 1941 and served in Guadalcanal and the South Pacific. He graduated from Officer Candidate School and was commissioned in January 1944. Mr. Maguire served on the Manhattan Project as the ranking captain at the Los Alamos, N.M., Army Post from the mission's inception to the end of the war. As a young captain, Mr. Maguire commanded the detail that brought the first uranium from Oak Ridge, Tenn., to Los Alamos. He also brought the third atomic bomb to San Diego for transportation to Tinian when the Japanese surrendered. In 1945, Mr. Maguire returned to Paine Furniture Co., Boston, where he had worked before the war. He worked at Paine for more than 50 years, retiring as executive vice president in 1994. Mr. Maguire was a member of St. Mary's parish, Lynn, and Salem Country Club, Peabody, for 40 years. He also leaves two sons, John H. Jr. of Marblehead and Kevin C. of Lynn; two daughters, Linda J. Mann of Lynnfield and Patricia A. Guerra of Peabody and Osterville; two sisters, Agnes Andrew of Danvers and Susan Fenton of Ipswich; four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A Mass will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are by Solimine, Landergan, and Rhodes Funeral Home.4

When James married in Jul 1960 for the second time he was working for Public Works and living at 12 Barstow Street in Salem while Concestina O'Leary worked in electronics and was living at 328 Jefferson Avenue in Salem. By the time their son James Jr. was born in May 1965 James Sr. had died and Congertina was still living at 12 Barstow Steet.

S. Marine Corps will attend. Cpl Maguire was a graduate of Salem High and is prominent in local civic and community groups. He headed the Essex Institute and the Neighborhood Club for Boys. He was serving with 3d Division of Marines in the South Pacific at the time of his death. His father, John H. Maguire, 61, died two weeks ago. He leaves three brothers, 1st Lt John H., B2c Richard, and George, and a sister, WAC Cpl Ruth Maguire.2

Mrs. Elizabeth M. (Maguire) Pelletier, 41, of 99 Redington St., Swampscott, died Saturday in Lynn Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of John Pelletier. Born in Salem, she lived in Swampscott for the past six years. She was a member of the St. John’s PTA in Swampscott. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Philip T. Pelletier, of Swampscott; two brothers, John Maguire of Lynn and Richard Maguire of Salem; seven sisters, Mrs. Mary Tuttle, Mrs. Susan Fenton, both of Salem, Mrs. Agnes Adrian, Mrs. Ruth Pierce, both of Danvers, Mrs. Jane Blye of Staten Island, N.Y., Mrs. Katherine Carroll of Beverly, and Mrs. Ellen Strom of Chelmsford; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held from the T.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 67 Ocean St., Lynn, Wednesday at 8 AM followed by a Solemn Requiem High Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, Swampscott, at 9 AM. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lynn.4

When they were married in Jul 1946 George was a bus driver living in Danvers and Ruth was a typist living in Salem. When their son Philip was born in May 1947 they were living at 9 Cedar Street in Salem but by the time Jane was born in Dec 1950 they had moved to 12 Wenham Street in Danvers. George was still a bus driver during these years. When their son George was born in Mar 1952 George gave his occupation as senior clerk. They still lived on Wenham Street in Danvers, as well as in Dec 1953 when daughter Marianne was born. George worked as a state highways inspector at that point.

By the time their last two sons were born in 1956-1959 they had moved to 12 Trask Street in Danvers. In 1956 George's occupation said just DPW so he worked for a department of public works, but in 1959 it specfically said he was a lab tech for MDPW, which is presumably the Massachusetts Dept. of Public Works. Ruth was still living in Danvers when her sister Elizabeth died in Sep 1962.

When their final child Daniel was born in Dec 1963 they were at 6 Witch Hill Drive in Salem and Paul worked as a real estate broker.

She was living in Salem when her sister Elizabeth died in Sep 1962.

Susan A. (Maguire) Fenton, 89, of Bunker Hill Road, Ipswich, died peacefully Monday, September 21, 2015 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Paul V. Fenton. Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Catherine (Marrs) Maguire. She was a graduate of Salem High School Class of 1942. For many years she was employed as a switchboard operator at New England Telephone, Danvers State Hospital and Salem and Beverly Hospitals. Sue enjoyed telling stories of growing up the youngest of thirteen children. She will be remembered as a loving mother and a kind generous person with a great sense of humor. She is survived by four children, Elizabeth Freitas and her husband Jon of Ipswich, Paul V. Fenton Jr. and his wife Jodie of Marblehead, Steven Fenton and his wife Sharon of Beverly, Daniel Valcour and his wife Monique of Antibes, France; daughter-in-law Laurie Fenton of Ipswich; ten grandchildren, Sara Freitas Brown of Ipswich, Patrick Fenton of Framingham, Sean Fenton of Marblehead, Maryann Taggart and her husband Ian of West Roxbury, Melissa Fenton and her partner Brian Thompson of Peabody, Michael, Emily and Juliette Fenton all of Ipswich, Madeleine and Sophie Valcour both of France and the blessed great grandchildren Katelyn Brown of Ipswich and William Thompson of Peabody. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Claire Maguire of West Peabody, and two dear friends Mary Palen and Virginia Mulcahy of Ipswich. She was the mother of the late Thomas N Fenton of Ipswich and the sister of the late George (Pat) Maguire, Mary Tuttle, Jane Blye, Ellen Strom, Catherine Carroll, John Maguire, Phillip Maguire, Richard Maguire, Ruth Pierce, Elizabeth Pelletier, Agnes Adrien and David Maguire. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, September 27 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Whittier Porter Funeral Home, Six High Street, Ipswich. A Celebration of Susan's Life and 90th Birthday will follow in the Boone Hall at Ascension Memorial Church, 31 County Road, Ipswich. All are respectfully welcomed. As per Sue's wishes there will be no funeral. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan Street, Ste. B102, Danvers, MA 01923 or to the Ipswich Council on Aging, 25 Green Street, Ipswich, MA.4

Ruth enjoyed sewing, baking and decorating cakes. She made birthday cakes for everyone. She was a devoted grandmother who cared for her grandchildren and her extended families children for the past 20 years. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Lynn. Ruth was employed in the General Electric Company's turbine division in Lynn. She retired in 1989 after 20 years of service. Prior to her employment at General Electric, she worked in the local shoe industry. She is survived by two sons, Michael P. Hickey and his wife Gail of Lynn, Patrick J. Hickey of Lynn and a daughter, Cathy Ann (Hickey) Haneffant of Lynn.. She also leaves six grandchildren, Jessica E., Mark A., Michael J., and Caitlin E. Hickey, Jocelyn M. and Jessica Laursen and several nieces and nephews. She is the sister in law of John Pesky and the late Ruth Pesky. She is the sister of the late Lilly, Ella, Helen, Eileen, Dot, John, Richard, Robert, William and Wilbur. Ruth's funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:00 AM from the SOLIMINE, LANDERGAN AND RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rte 129) Lynn followed by a funeral mass in St. Pius V Church, Lynn at 9:00 AM. Cremation in Harmony Grove Crematory, Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Tuesday 4 to 8 PM. Donations may be made to All Care VNA, 16 City Hall Square, Lynn, MA 01901.4

Cathy Ann (Hickey) Haneffant, age 56, of Lynn, died suddenly at her home on Thursday October 8, 2009, where she had been stricken ill. The daughter of the late John P. and Ruth M. (McDonald) Hickey, she was a graduate of Lynn English High School. Many years ago she had worked at the former Essex County Bank and Trust. She is survived by her 2 brothers Michael Hickey, and his wife Gail, and Patrick Hickey, all of Lynn, and several nieces and nephews.2

Birth*John James Maguire was born on 25 June 1934 at J.B. Thomas Hospital in Peabody, Essex County, MassachusettsG.1 
Death*He died on 13 January 2018. 
When they were married in Sep 1962 John was a student living at 4 Lincoln Road in Salem while Alicia was a bookkeeper living at 2-A Holly Street, also in Salem.

When their son Michael was born in Feb 1964 they were living at 50 Cherry Street in Danvers, Mass. When daughter Pamela was born in Jun 1965 they were at 26 Green Street in Salem. John was an electronic technician during these two years. 
His obituary appeared in the 29 January 2018 Salem News and read as follows:

SOUTH YARMOUTH, MA - John James "Snooky" Maguire was born in Salem, Mass., on June 25, 1934. He lived in Salem for 37 years. He also resided in Brewster, and Harwich, Mass., for over 45 years. John passed away peacefully at Cape Cod Hospital on January 13, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Alicia J. (Wroblewski) Maguire; one daughter, Pamela; one granddaughter, Kristina. Also survived by three younger brothers, George E., and wife, Marilyn "Minnie" Maguire, of Harrison, Maine, Peter J. Maguire, of Lakeworth, Fla., and Robert M. "Boo," and wife, Janet Maguire, from West Yarmouth, Mass. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Michael P. Maguire, and two younger brothers, David, and Michael "Mickey" Maguire. John was the first son of George "Pat" and Lorraine (Drinkwater) Maguire of Salem, Mass. John attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Lynn, Mass., for 13 years, graduating in 1952. He also attended Lowell Tech in Lowell, Mass. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1957, serving four years on an aircraft carrier. "Best four years of his life!" He was discharged with honors on April 28, 1961. He married in September 1962, and worked in Lowell, Mass., as a technical engineer. In 1971, John moved his family to Cape Cod, Mass. fulfilling a longtime dream to live by the ocean. John established and operated a few businesses on the Cape, "Brewster Garage," in 1971, with his two brothers, then "Brothers Automotive" in West Harwich, in 1972. He ran the auto parts store for many years, until 1983. In his later years he worked part-time for Cape Abilities for 12 years. He retired in May, 2015. John enjoyed his few quiet years.2

When their daughter Katherine was born in Jan 1967 David was a service station owner and they were living at 245 Boston Street in Topsfield, Mass. By the time their daughter Elizabeth came along in Aug 1970 they had moved to 92 High Street in Topsfield and he was still an owner-operator of a service station.
