| She was Hattie P. Lakeman on her marriage record, with father William and mother Ella Wallingford, but it said it was her first marriage. Age was 29. Her second marriage has her name as Harriet P. Bates and parents William Champion and Ella Wallingford. Even the marriage intention has 'Lakeman' as her last name and says it was her first marriage. So where does the Lakeman name come from? |
