This research is a work in progress, taken from sources of varying reliability. The information should be verified before being relied upon.
Birth* | William James Champion was born circa 1863 in New HampshireG.1,2 |
Marriage* | He married first Ella Louisa Wallingford, daughter of Garland Wallingford and Priscilla Cram, on 10 June 1887 in Berwick, York County, MaineG.3 |
| When he died is in question. Online trees suggest he is the William Champion who died in Lynn, Mass. on 4 Sep 1945. But his wife Ella's second marriage record in 1898 said she was a widow, and his daughter's marriage records said that their father was deceased. Harriet's second marriage record in 1930 said her father was deceased and gave his age as 24, which would have him dying around the time he married Ella Wallingford, so that can't be right. |
