Birth*Sarah Fernald was born on 26 August 1800.1 
Marriage*She married John York, son of Nicholas York Jr. and Sarah Applebee, by 1840.1 
Death*Sarah Fernald died on 21 September 1877.1 
Sarah was married first (int.) 15 May 1819 to George Westcott Smith. No marriage certificate was issued after this because George already had a wife, but deeds show that by 1824 he was Sarah's husband.2

Marriage*He married Keziah Griggs on 31 August 1834 in Roxbury, Norfolk County, MassachusettsG. Their marriage was also apparently recorded in the vital records of Newfield, Maine.2,3 
Death*Stephen York died on 6 March 1887 in Rochester, Strafford County, New HampshireG.1 
They had seven children, whose details are included in the Early Families of Newfield, Maine book on pp.757-8.4

Marriage*She married Stephen York, son of Nicholas York Jr. and Sarah Applebee, on 31 August 1834 in Roxbury, Norfolk County, MassachusettsG. Their marriage was also apparently recorded in the vital records of Newfield, Maine.2,3 
Death*Keziah Griggs died on 29 August 1869.1

He lived on his father's farm. His obituary was published in the Ossipee Valley Herald of Limerick, Maine on 7 jan 1910 but has not been seen by this author yet. He has five children by his first wife: George 'Harrison', Charles 'Quincy', Harriet E., Frank H., and Carrie Belle.1

They resided on the paternal homestead in Hingham, Mass. where Thomas was a shoemaker. They had at least two children: Charles Thomas and Susan Maria.2
