| Her placement as a child of John York and Eleanor Durgin is unproven. She moved to Dixmont, Maine later in later as did some of her proposed siblings.And her possible brother Thomas York had a daughter Rhoda.
Between 1820 and 1825 John and Rhoda moved to Dixmont, Maine, where he is buried. She survived him.
They are in the Dixmont census from 1830-1850. In 1850 they lived on land worth $350. John was 76 and did not have an occupation. They lived next door to the family of Stephen and Rebecca York and their children Stephan A., Elbridge G., and Almon E.3 |
