Allana Lister Mitchell. Concord, NH - Allana Mitchell, daughter of Allan and Eleanor Mitchell, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2024, at Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord, NH at the age of 77. Allana was born October 31, 1946, in North Conway and was raised in Concord. She lived in Epsom for 33 years, raising her family there. She moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida spending 17 years in the sunshine state and returned to Concord to spend her most recent years near her family. She graduated from Concord High School, NH Technical Institute and Franklin Pierce College, where she received a bachelor's degree in nursing. Allana volunteered on the Epsom Rescue Squad for 20 years, and this sparked her lifelong career in healthcare. In 1981 she became one of the first women to be a licensed Paramedic in the state of NH. Allana continued her education in nursing, eventually becoming an international registered Nurse. She practiced nursing in London, Romania, St. Croix, Florida and locally she worked at the Elliot Hospital for 15 years. Allana had a passion for traveling, visiting India, China, France and Iceland to name a few, her all-time favorite city and travel destination was London England. Allana is survived by her two children Shelley Parker Salerno and her husband Gerald Salerno of Hobe Sound, FL and Shawn Parker and his wife Darci Rae Parker of Bow, her beloved grandchildren Trenton, Liam, and Grace Parker, former husband Lyman Parker and her sister Kaile Mansir. She also leaves behind her dear friends Bonnie Bowlby Wright of Concord and Jaimiesson Newton-Moore of London, England. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
