  1. Her parents are named as Joseph and Sarah York in her Nov 1847 marriage record, that states she was age 29 and born in Northwood. She was born sometime between 1813 and 1820 based on her age at marriage, 1850 census (21), 1855 census (35), 1860 census (40), and her age at death of 70 in 1883. Also, her father deposed in 1820 that he had a five year old daughter at the time, so it would seem likely that this is her and she was born in 1815, unless she wasn't born yet when the deposition was made.

Her parentage is uncertain and is based on the History of Northwood who said her father was Josiah York and she was from Middleton. He is the most logical Josiah for this to be.

They had two daughters. James was for many years a deacon of the Congregational Church in Northwood.
