Birth*Thomas Wallingford was born circa 1795 in MaineG. (Based on age of 56 in 1850 census and 72 on gravestone.)
Marriage*He married Anna McCrillis, daughter of John McCrillis and Lydia Shorey, on 22 October 1815 in Lebanon, York County, MaineG. Her name was spelled Anne McRelas on their marriage record.1
Death*Thomas died on 7 July 1867. He was buried in a private cemetery on the north side of Pine Hill Road in Berwick, Maine.2,3
Thomas is presently unconnected. The fact that he married in Lebanon would suggest that he is a member of the muddied Lebanon branch of the family, but there is the possibility that he is the Thomas Ricker Wallingford, son of Thomas and Hannah (Lyman) Wallingford whom Shackford suggests died in 1811.4 Shackford, however, does not provide any ancestry for the Thomas who married Anne McCrillis.5 Charles Wallingford does consider them to be the same person.6

In 1850 Thomas and family were living in Berwick, Maine. Thomas was a farmer on a piece of land valued at $200. Living next door was the family of his son Tristram.7 He was not listed in the 1860 census of Berwick, despite being buried there seven years later.

Marriage*He married Olive Clark, daughter of John Clark and Polly Wilson, on 17 April 1842 in Rochester, Strafford County, New HampshireG.2
Death*Moses died of apoplexy, on 9 July 1896, in Rochester, Strafford County, New HampshireG, at age 77. This death record in the Rochester Town Report says his parents names were Thomas and Lydia (McCrillis) Wallingford when, if this is the correct person, his mother's name should have been Anne..1
In the 1850 census of Rochester Moses Wallingford, 32, born N.H., is a farmer with a small farm worth $300. Living with him are his wife Olive, 35, born, N.H. and a Susan [A. or H.?], age 7, born N.H., who is presumably their daughter "Helen".3 Ten years later Moses, age 43, now born Maine and Olive, 45, born N.H., are living alone in Rochester. The farm is now worth $700 and his personal estate $400.4 In the 1870 census of Rochester Moses, 51, born Maine, and Olive, 53, born N.H., are living with a Polly Clarke, age 89, born Maine. The farm is worth $1700 and the personal estate $400. Polly Clarke is probably Olive's mother.

Marriage*She married first Charles W. Wingate on 1 March 1840 in Berwick, York County, MaineG. They were both living in Berwick when they got married.3
Charles Wallingford4 says that the Elizabeth Wallingford who married, on 1 March 1840, Charles Wingate, was daughter of Jonathan and Betsey (Bunker) Wallingford, but Shackford5 says that it was the Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas and Anne (McCrillis) Wallingford who married Wingate. Shackford is more likely to be correct here. Elizabeth daughter of Jonathan would likely have lived in the area of Athens, Maine with her father, while this Elizabeth was down in the Berwick area. From the death record of Julia (Wingate) Stevens in Rochester6 in 1892 we know that her mother Elizabeth Wallingford was born in Berwick. In addition, one of the sources of information used by Shackford was Mrs. Laura A. Wallingford, who married a grandson of Thomas and Anne (McCrillis) Wallingford.
