Sally Gleason Wallingford. July 16, 2010. Sally Gleason Wallingford, 71, of Tully, joined her mother with the Lord on Friday, July 16, at Crouse Hospital. She had been a legal secretary for Jack Brandt and retired as a secretary for St. James Church in Syracuse. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Pompey. Sally was predeceased by her husband, Albert; her parents, Robert and Ida Gleason; and her brothers, Robert, James and Norman Gleason. Surviving are her daughter, Melissa Wallingford, and Melissa's boys, who were Sally's pride and joy, Joseph and Nicholas Wallingford-Stirner, all of Tully; four sisters, Shirley Mallon of Union Springs, Sandra Mosher of Killingworth, CT, Patricia Reynolds of Clay and Janet Rose of Syracuse; four brothers, Michael of Herkimer, Joseph of Lafayette, Frederick Peter of Palisode, CO, and Jacob of North Field, MN; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Immaculate Conception Church, Pompey. Interment: St. Patrick's Cemetery, Truxton. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hartwell Funeral Home, 11 Clinton St., Tully. Contributions may be made to PEACE Inc. for the Ida Gleason Scholarship Fund or its Christmas baskets fund in memory of Sally. Hartwell Funeral Home Tully, NY.1 |

Edgar H. Marris, 83, of Cazenovia died Sunday at his home. Edgar was born on February 13, 1930 in his family's home on Temperance Hill Road, the son of Claude and Blanche Marris. He was a dairy farmer on his family farm and later worked for JC Lucas Sons. He is predeceased by his siblings, Clara "Sis" McCollum, Della Miller and Claude "Chuck" Marris. Surviving are his wife, Marilyn; his daughter Shelia DiAngelo of Cazenovia and son William (Teresa) Marris of Cazenovia; his siblings, George "Jim" Marris, Esther Minor, Carol "Polly" Morley, Betty "Susie" Grier, Roger Marris, Sally Bishop and Peg "Mary" Vadala; his grandchildren, Emily and Alyssa DiAngelo, Kimberlee and Brady Marris; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held from 12-2pm Saturday with a service to follow at Tait Funeral Home, Inc., 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia. Contributions may be made to CAVAC.1 |

Mr. Wallingford was a graduate of Cazenovia High School. Surviving are two brothers, Francis of Cazenovia, and Lawrence of Sheds; two sisters, Marilyn Marris and Carol Melton, both of Cazenovia; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
