Birth* | Abraham York was born say 1705 in Boston, Suffolk County, MassachusettsG.1 |
Marriage* | He married Naomi Blake, daughter of John Blake and Joanna Whiting, on 22 June 1726 in Boston, Suffolk County, MassachusettsG.2,3 |
Death* | Abraham York died say 1750.1 |
| There is currently no evidence proving that Abraham is the son of Abraham York and Mary Richards, but the timeline works. We know that this Abraham married in 1726, so if he were born soon after his possible parents were married in 1704 he would have been 21 or 22 when married.
Naomi was from Wrentham, Mass. at the time of her marriage, and she is called by the first name of both Naomi and Amiable in the records.
Abraham was a fisherman. On 27 Jun 1732 he bought land from John Bennett on the northwest side of Washington and Bennett streets in Boston. On 15 Jul 1736 Abraham and wife Amiable deeded a house and land in the South End to the blacksmith Joseph Woods.
This deed is the last record we currently have of him.4 |

Birth* | Benjamin York was born on 18 May 1732.1 |
Marriage intention* | Mary Cummins filed an intention of marriage with Benjamin York, son of Unconnected York, on 14 May 1757 in Falmouth (now Portland), MaineG.2,1 |
| Extensive information on this Benjamin is on his wikitree page here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/York-5978
This famiilysearch pedigree - https://www.familysearch.org/tree/pedigree/landscape/KZ8Q-SW2 - proposes that this Benjamin was the son of Samuel York of Ipswich, but the Ipswich births of his children stop in 1730. Samuel had a son Benjamin who died as an infant in 1828, so it's possible that he had another one born two years after their last recorded child that just wasn't recorded in the Ipswich records. |
