	On October 15, 1967, Wallingford Park located at the corner of Congress and Fifth St. in Schenectady was decidated in his name. He was a city councilman representing the city's ninth ward. They lived at 1546 Hawthorne St. in Schenectady.1

	Arthur was an OB/GYN doctor and general surgeon and maintained a practice in Albany. He was a president of the Albany School Board and held a position on the New York State Board of Mental Health and Mental Retardation.1

Birth*	Howard O. Wallingford was born on 6 October 1882.1
	He was living in Troy, N.Y. when his mother's obituary was printed in 1945. His father's 1930 obituary does not mention him but does mention two Wallingford grandchildren Helen and Raymond who are likely his.2 Tim Nace's research shows Raymond and Kenneth as his children.1

	They were living in Schenectady in 1930 and 1945 when her parents died, according to their obituaries. Two Tamm grandchildren were mentioned in her father's 1930 obituary.4

Death*	Alice Josephine Wallingford died on 25 August 2015 at the Pines of Newmarket in Newmarket, Rockingham County, New HampshireG.
	Her obituary appeared in the 28 August 2015 Hampton Union and read as follows: Hampton – Alice W. Downer, 88, of Hampton, died Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at The Pines in Newmarket where she had resided the past five years. She was born October 27, 1926 in Watervliet, NY a daughter of the late Edward and Alice (Shaughnessy) Wallingford. Alice graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in Schenectady, NY with the Class of 1946 and continued on to secretarial school. In her earlier years she worked for General Electric in Schenectady before moving to Hampton in the early 1950’s. After moving to Hampton she and her late husband owned and operated the former Moulton Hotel and Carousel Restaurant at Hampton Beach until the late 1960’s. She later was employed as a nursery school aid in North Hampton and in the special education department at Hampton Academy. Her final employment was at Hampton Cleaners where she was employed for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, served as a Eucharistic minister, was a member and past president of the Catholic Women’s Club and also served with the Ladies Sodality on the bereavement committee. Alice’s passion was her unconditional support of others. She was the wife of the late Raymond J. Downer who predeceased her in 1975. Family members include three children, Elizabeth Singer and husband Gene of Anchorage, AK, R.J. Downer and wife Susan of Bedford, Pamela Dye and husband Chris of Hampton, four grandchildren, Nathan and Katherine Downer, Eugene Singer, Mia Dye, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. Visiting hours will be from 3-5 P.M. Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Monday, August 31, 2015 at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 289 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Burial will follow in the High Street Cemetery, Hampton.
