Birth*	Franklin Wallingford was born circa 1900.1
Death*	Franklin died on 23 April 1943 in Perkins, Quebec, CanadaG. He was killed while working on the construction of an access road in Perkins. While driving a tractor it sank to one side and flipped over, pinning him between the ground and the gas tank. Other workers tried to lift the tractor to release him but he died during their attempt.11

Birth*	Charles Melvin Wallingford was born on 12 July 1914.1
Death*	Charles died on 16 April 1945 in Germany or HollandG. He was killed in action in either Germany or Holland. After the end of hostilities remains of Canadian soldiers killed in this campaign were brought together into the Holten Canadian War Cemetery in the Province of Overijssel, Netherlands.2
	Charles was a private with the Royal Canadian Regiment when he was killed in action. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission website has this to say about the campaign in which he died: "The Netherlands fell to the Germans in May 1940 and was not re-entered by Allied forces until September 1944. The great majority of those buried in Holten Canadian War Cemetery died during the last stages of the war in Holland, during the advance of the Canadian 2nd Corps into northern Germany, and across the Ems in April and the first days of May 1945.3
